Does activism improve the quality of life for participating individuals? Does it leave the activist a quivering mass of depression and idealism? Can we ever get anything done? Discuss.
Last thursday I led a class lecture (as required) on Vietnam and Iraq and no one in the class knew a thing about Iraq OR cared OR participated. Here at a college with a HEAVY activist tradition. How can you be against a war if you know nothing about it? Further: how can you not know about it? PLEASE COMMENT ME WITH YOUR OPINIONS/QUESTIONS/ANECDOTES this is VERYVERY important to me and to you and all of us.
I forgot to put on deoderant today but it's no biggie.
